University Rules for Admission
The following rules for Admission for 2010-11 are applicable to all CCS University Affiliated Colleges
1. (a) Admissions are granted on the basis of merit and other norms and not on the basis of sex, caste, religion or community of a student. Out of total available seats, 21 %, 2 % and 27% are reserved for SC, ST and OBC students respectively. Physically challenged (physical disability exceeding 50%), visually disabled (1%), deaf and dumb (1%), loss of limbs (1%) total 3%, dependents of freedom fighters (2%), armed force personnel or their dependents will be given 1%, 2% and 1% reservation respectively.
If seat reserved for ST category is lying vacant, the same would be filled by a student of SC category.
Seats for reserved category, lying vacant even after 15 days of last date of admissions may be filled in with general category students by establishing the reasons thereof.
A candidate originally of U.P. who has passed his/her qualifying exam from some other state but wants admission as a U.P. resident, would need to submit U.P. Domicile Certificate and Reservation Certificate issued by the Competent Authority failing which he/she will be treated as a student of other state.
1. (b) Admissions to candidates of other states will not exceed 10% of total seats available with the proviso that their positionn in merit should not be below their U.P. counterparts. A student of other state will be treated as such even if he/she has passed the qualifying exam from a Board/University of U.P.
